Karachi – August 18, 2018: Power supply to various parts of Karachi was affected for few hours due to EHT line tripping on Saturday. The interruption was caused by tripping of 500 kV transmission line connecting KE to the national grid, which had a rollover effect on Karachi’s electric supply.
According to KE Spokesperson, “KE teams initiated restoration work immediately and power supply was restored to routine level within few hours. It is pertinent to note that all strategic installations falling in affected areas were restored on priority.”
KE regrets the inconvenience caused to its valued customers due to unforeseen circumstances and appreciates their cooperation during this time.
