Karachi, 19th October 2015: K-Electric in a meeting has decided that there will be an exemption of load-shed on the 9th and 10th of Muharram.
The power utility had already announced that uninterrupted supply of electricity was being provided from 6pm to 7am to more than 223 feeders located in areas where Majalis and processions are taking place. In addition to this K-Electric has made available stand-by generators which have been strategically placed at major locations in case there is an interruption of electricity supply.
In the end K-Electric would want its consumers to know that any power interruption should not be voiced as load-shed. KE’s teams are on standby and are equipped with means to overcome any localized fault.
