Karachi, February 20, 2024: Spokesperson KE clarified that the power utility’s infrastructure was not involved in a fire reported in Saddar’s Hakeem Center. Power supply to the area was immediately suspended as per safety protocol, and KE teams remained on site to facilitate authorities.
Initial reports suggest a fault in internal wiring as the origin. Power supply will be restored following formal clearance from rescue authorities.
