Karachi, January 23, 2024: KE will be undertaking a critical maintenance activity at Baldia, Hospital and Mehmoodabad Grids on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, to ensure the stability and reliability of power supply to consumers residing in these areas.
The activity requires a shutdown from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM for Baldia, Hospital and Mehmoodabad Grids during which there may be temporary interruption of supply in areas connected to the above-mentioned Grid. Interruptions in power supply due to maintenance and technical faults should not be equated with loadshedding.

Areas of Baldia Grid that may experience power shutdown during the maintenance activity are Baldia Sector 12D, 12C, 12E, 14A, 14B, 17A New Saeedabad, Turk Colony, Gujrat Colony, Tai Muhallah, Orangi Zia Colony, Mominabad, Noorani Muhallah, Faqir Colony, Usmania Muhallah, Malaik Chowk , Zia Colony, New Baldia Sector 5J, 5G Saeedabad, Shah Mullah, Muslim Abad, Toheedi Muhallah, Meraj un Nisa colony , 10 number, Small Industrial Zone, Jam Sahab Road, Police Training Centre Quarters, Ansaria Muhallah, Muhammad Khan Colony, Akhrotabad, Laiqabad, Younusabad, Shanti Muhallah, Benaam Road, Mufti Mehmood Chowk, ANP Chowk, Muhammad Khan Colony, Afridi Chowk, Allah-o-Akbar Colony, Muhammad Khan Colony, Subhania Muhallah, Jhangvi Chowk, Block-A,B,C & D and Ittehad Town.
Areas of Hospital Grid that may experience power shutdown during the maintenance activity are NED University, Main University Road, KDA Scheme-33, Gulistan-e-Johar Block- 1, 3/A, 14, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 & 19, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block-7, Block-4 & 4-A, Sindh Baloch Society, Callachi Society Block 10-A Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Areas of Mehmoodabad Grid that may experience power shutdown during the maintenance activity are PECHS Block-6, Mehmoodabad, Chanesar Goth, Azam Basti, Darul Aman Society, and Block-7/8.
