Karachi: 13th August 2018: Under its Plant for Pakistan initiative which emphasizes environmental sustainability through tree plantation, K-Electric organized a tree plantation drive at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, with the newly-appointed Cardinal, His Eminence Joseph Coutts, in attendance. This tree plantation initiative by KE is a step towards a greener Pakistan and we are grateful to them.”

KE spokesperson added that “One of the best ways to celebrate Independence Day is by planting a growing flag. As part of our commitment towards a greener and cleaner Pakistan, we have planted more than 100,000 trees already. We are also collaborating with horticultural experts and social sector partners to create awareness of and facilitate tree plantation.”
