Karachi, May 26, 2017: K-Electric, under its social investment program, has completed electrification scheme in Qalandarabad and Mughal Haraza Goth areas of Gulistan e Johar.
Nine PMTs were installed with an investment of PKR 34.3 million and the scheme has been connected with ABC (Ariel Bundled Cable). Upon completion of the scheme, 1600 houses will be provided with electricity using new connections. The people of the area arranged a ceremony to honor K-Electric and the representatives of the area for their services.
On this occasion, KE Spokesperson said “We are thankful for the cooperation of the representatives and the residents of the area in successful completion of this project. KE is committed to improve supply of power in the city. The provision of electricity in the suburbs and low income localities of the city is of great importance to us. Currently, there is no unannounced load shed in any parts of the city and 61% of the city, including the industrial zones, are exempted from load shed. Our Teams are available round the clock to repair faults. Customers can call at 118 call center to register any power complaints.”
