Karachi, 14th June 2017: K-Electric defeats Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in a nail-biting encounter in 6th Corporate T-20 Cup organized by the Moin Khan Academy.
K-Electric batted first and posted 125 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 9 wickets. KE’s Khushdil Shah batted brilliantly giving his side the impetus and made 68 runs and remained the highest-scorer whereas Ramiz Aziz made 27 runs.
SSGC required 126 runs in 20 overs but could not reach the target due to some good bowling and fielding from K-Electric. KE’s Hassan Khan and Faraz Ahmed both clinched 2 wickets each as SSGC finished the 20 overs on 124/8, falling short of 2 runs. K-Electric’s KHushdil Shah was announced man of the match.
K-Electric plays its next match against SNGPL on the 15th (Thursday).
