Karachi, April 2, 2017: Due to technical fault power supply at some grids experienced partial interruption. However KE teams initiated restoration work immediately and power supply was restored in most of the affected areas instantly.
Due to tripping only 10 out of 64 grids experienced brief power interruption.
Localities connected with affected grids in Defense, Clifton, Baloch Colony and Jacob Line were affected. Restoration work in most of the areas was initiated instantly. Power supply of strategic installations falling in affected area were also restored immediately including JPMC and other major hospitals. Whereas power supply of KWSB pumping stations is as per routine.
