FAWAD ALI GILANI

With two decades of expertise in power system planning, operations, policymaking, and regulations, Fawad Ali Gillani has built an impressive career. He has held senior positions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom (UK), demonstrating his leadership capabilities. Previously, Fawad was the Director at the Department of Energy Abu Dhabi, contributing to strategic decision-making. Before his tenure in the UAE, he spent eight years at the UK’s Transmission System Operator (National Grid), excelling in various technical and managerial roles. Fawad is a graduate of the University of Manchester, holding a bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics, and he further enhanced his skills with an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology.
