Karachi, 29th December, 2017: K-Electric has completed the installation of Aerial Bundled Cables in Railway Cooperative Housing Society. The area residents provided complete support to K-Electric during the project and deemed it a positive initiative for the area. The area was energized recently in a ceremony attended by KE management and organized representative of Railway Cooperative Housing Society.
After the installation of the new meters, this theft free community will enjoy reliable power supply. Moreover, the deployment of Aerial Bundled Cables which eliminates kunda will also ensure decrease in trippings and voltage fluctuation.
Under Project Ujala, ABC is being deployed across Karachi, which will enhance reliability of power supply and eradication of load shedding. K Electric has successfully completed similar schemes in several low income localities including Gazdarabad, Mujeeb Goth, Altaf Town and Rozi Goth. The residents of these localities have gotten rid of illegal hook connections and load shedding has also ended in the area.
